Marops are the suppliers of a modern ESM system. Teki is a passive long range sensor system with high sensitivity that provides persistent tracking of marine radars. Its unique algorithm facilitates fully automatic monitoring without the need for an operator and it can be either ship or land mounted. Teki was developed in partnership with the New Zealand Defence Technology Agency and was delivered to the first customer in 2010.

Marops also provides system design and integration, software development, project management,  and Operational Test & Evaluation.

Marops staff and facilities hold Government security clearances allowing Marops to participate in a variety of Defence and surveillance projects. Marops personnel have a range of skills to support this work including electronics and avionics specialists, software developers, hardware integrators, operators and project managers.

Marops is focused on improvements in the delivery of courseware and training for more cost effective outcomes that enhance the learning experience. This includes providing training solutions in many forms from MS PowerPoint lessons, through to interactive online computer based training and e-courses that use simulations and games to enhance the learning experience. Our interactive content can be displayed in programs such as Web Browsers, Adobe Reader, or MS Power Point where it can be manipulated in real-time by the user. Interactive content has been proven to considerably increase learning comprehension and retention rates.

Specialists in computer animation and simulation; Marops digital media work extends to part task trainers, simulators, marketing and promotional videos, iphone/ipad apps, and eBooks.

Marops creates technical graphic content for marketing, design presentations, planning approvals, and community consultations. Often using CAD data provided by the customer animated sequences are created to illustrate planned buildings, large technical sites and complex equipment. This content is then incorporated with photography, video, satellite imagery to provide a complete presentation tool.
