The Role - Training and Test Specialist

 

Marops are looking for an individual with a military support background who can accomplish a variety of tasks in support of sensors and a variety of military platforms. These tasks would include developing training courses and publications for, sensor setup and calibration, mission system preparation and database support.

 

Desired Requirements

 

Experience in training needs analysis, designing, developing, and delivering training courses. 

 

Understand sensor capabilities and their practical application.

​

​Experience of mission system support and data processing, exploitation, and dissemination. 

 

Trials, development, test, and evaluation experience.

 

Good interpersonal skills.

 

Competency with MS Office Products.

 

Specific Duties

 

Training Course Development, including phases of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation.

 

Trials and Developments, and Operational Test and Evaluation Duties. 

 

Sensor System Operational Support.

 

Software and Hardware Testing.

 

Contribute to team-wide activities, system design discussions, reviews, etc

 

Development and amendment of project documentation.

 

You must be able to comply with the requirements to hold an appropriate NZDF security clearance.

 

The successful candidate will work from our Auckland office (North Shore) and on occasions will be required to travel both locally and internationally. Remuneration will be dependent on the level of qualifications and skills that the individual brings to the job.
