2026 marks a quarter century Marops has been in business. To celebrate we attended Eden Park for the Blues vs Crusaders Super Rugby match. Thank you to our clients and suppliers who were able to to attend and make it a memorable night. We look forward to the next one!

Space Technology & Innovation Event

Marops sponsored a groundbreaking event last Friday. Space Trailblazer and NZDIA combined forces at Outset Ventures to unify the realms of innovation, science, space, manufacturing, and defence in one place. Our mission? To foster networking and cultivate relationships for the advancement of our economy.
In attendance were industry leaders from around the world and we were lucky to have unwavering support from Minister Hon Judith Collins and Minister Andrew Bayly.

Marops welcomed Chris Penk the Associate Minister of Defence and local MP for the Kaipara electorate.
Chris's career began in the NZ Navy and we discussed several of our projects that enhance the capabilities of the New Zealand Defence Force.

Hon Judith Collins, New Zealand’s Minister of Defence visited Marops today.
We demonstrated some of Marops capabilities and discussed how we can assist in building New Zealand’s defence capabilities.

In a week of visits to the company we also were privileged to host National Party MPs Tim Van de Molan (Defence spokesperson) and Erica Stanford (member for East Coast Bays). They were interested to hear the direction that Marops are taking our products, how we succeed in specialised niche markets, how we partner with NZ Defence, and benefit the local economy.
